Relation sort order (Notion)

Is it possible to sort the items in a relation between two database tables?

Context: On a Notion workspace, there is a relation between database table boards and database table tasks. When creating a new task, I select a board through this relation. Unfortunately, the board that I most often select, is the last in the column. It would be nice if I can determine the order in which these items are presented.

As far as I can tell, this is not possible.

Worse: The order in the dropdown box is consistent, but doesn't seem to correspond to the order in which the items on the other side of the relation, have been created - So a trick like recreating the items in a specific order, might not help.
