The WebToffee GDPR Plugin seems an excellent alternative for the usual and more expensive GDPR-form-services.
Installation
This worked:
wp plugin install /var/www/media.example.com/plugins/webtoffee-gdpr-cookie-consent.zip
- It's a non-open-source plugin: You can't install it on multiple sites without violating a license agreement, contrary to many open-source-but-payed plugins
- When installing, don't automatically activate the plugin: Without proper configuration, it will immediately block all tags
- I guess you can only enter license information after activating the plugin - Wait with activating + licensing until you are ready to also configure the plugin. Otherwise, everything gets blocked.
