Could not display sftp link

Quite often, after opening an SFTP connection over SSH in Nemo, I get after a short while an error like

Could not display "sftp://123.456.789.012/".
The location is not a folder.

The only solution I knew so far, was to restart the computer.

Solutions

killall nemo

Quite an improvement from restarting the computer:

killall nemo
