The WooCommerce EU VAT Number is a plugin for real-time checking the validity of Europen VAT numbers.

It uses something called a handy (a webservice?) called VIES: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/

Installation

As this is effectively a paid plugin, you cannot install it through the WP-CLI. Once manually installed, this plugin can be manipulated manually. E.g.: wp plugin activate woocommerce-eu-vat-number
