WP-Pro-Quiz (WordPress-plugin)

Interesting to see, that under wp-admin » Plugins, there is no notification that this plugin is obsolete

In 2022.12, I came across a site that uses the WP-Pro-Quiz plugin for a quiz. It looked quite nice, except that after migrating the site to an up-to-date environment, the plugin didn't work.

Status

• This plugin has been closed at wordpress.org on 2020.06.17 due to security issues [1]
• Last update was in 2015
• Tested up to WordPress 4.3, which came out in Aug. 2015, which is an older but still maintained version of WordPress [2]
• It seemed to have worked on PHP 7.4, but doesn't work on PHP 8 [3]

⇒ It's dead.
