Packing slip

A packing slip, packing list, delivery note, waybill of pakbon is a document that accompanies a shipment of goods.

Packing slips typically includes details about the contents of the package, such as:

• The items included in the shipment
• Quantities of each item
• Descriptions of the items
• (Sometimes) the order or invoice number.

They typically do not contain any prices.

Purposes

• Verification: Allows the recipient to check that the items received match the order
• Paper trail: Serves as a record of what was shipped in case of disputes
• Picking list: Packing slips often double as a picking list, pick list or picklijst: A document used by warehouse staff for collecting the items for an order.
