Grouping refers to clustering data in views.
- The most common grouping is probably in board view, where tasks are grouped in lists according to a field (e.g., a field Kanban state)
- Grouping can be applied to all views, except. calendar view
- Grouping can be applied to all fields, except. rollup (and formula field?)
- To group tasks in overviews, they need to have a common field to group by. That's why I usually include fields like Kanban state and Priority on all projects, maybe in addition to grouping fields that are specific to specific boards.
