Grouping (Notion)

Grouping refers to clustering data in views.

The most common grouping is probably in board view, where tasks are grouped in lists according to a field (e.g., a field Kanban state)
Grouping can be applied to all views, except. calendar view
Grouping can be applied to all fields, except. rollup (and formula field?)
To group tasks in overviews, they need to have a common field to group by. That's why I usually include fields like Kanban state and Priority on all projects, maybe in addition to grouping fields that are specific to specific boards.
