Enfold (WordPress-theme)

Enfold is a WordPress theme that I first encountered in 2022. It is presumably a combination of a page builder and a theme. It seems to be an excellent choice for a general website:
- On ThemeForst, it ranks fourth in the bestseller list out of all 10,657 themes and accourding to CloudWays, it used to rank highest in the multipurpose category, although it seems to have disappeared from there
- It uses proprietary shortcodes, which indicates to me that it's a page builder rather than just a theme.
- Version as of 2022.07.02: 5.0
Theme registration
There used to be a time that registration happened through an API. Appearantly, that time is gone and registration goes with a so-called Envato Personal Token since approximately version 4.4.1 of Enfold: [1]:
- Log in into your Envato account
- Create a token
- Set permissions for this token
- Create token
- WP-admin » Enfold » Theme Update » Enter a valid Envato private token.

Possible causes
- Something not updated?
- Enfold private token (licence key) is placed in parent directory, not in child directory [2], [3]
- This site uses the old API key in stead of a token - This is probably the cause.
