Dit artikel gaat over headsets, koptelefoons of handsfree sets voor computers maar vooral voor mobieltjes: Ik vind het heel stom om te bellen en daarbij m'n mobieltje tegen m'n hoofd te moeten houden. Tot op heden (nov. 2021) is dit het enige artikel op deze wiki over headsets. Het behandelt zowel de weerbarstige materie van Bluetooth-headsets onder Linux, als headsets in het algemeen.

Diagnose Bluetooth

Casus juni 2020: GMB Headset

  • Linux Mint 18.1
  • Scherm "Bluetooth bevriest" als-ie zegt dat-ie aan het zoeken is naar devices

Uitkomsten:

  • In het Bluetooth-scherm beweegt het wacht-icoontje nu - Dus een kleine verbetering
  • Blijkbaar is de Bluetooth-adapter device hci0, oftewel dell-bluetooth
  • Als ik de headset activeer, wordt deze gedecteerd - Gelukt!

Concluses

Hij werkt wel als koptelefoon, maar niet als microfoon.

Casus juni 2020: Phillips-headset

  • Rest als hiervoor
