Google AdWords Editor - Installatie op Linux

AdWords Editor 11.1.3 (Sep. 2015)

Gelukt - De truuk is dat je het programma moet installeren in een Windows 7-omgeving, maar moet executeren in een Windows XP-omgeving, omdat er een bug zit rondom QT in Windows 7.

• Wine 1.6
• Dit is de enige Wine-toepassing op deze computer. Hij maakt daarom gebruik van de .wine standaard-prefix

Eerdere installaties ongedaan maken

sudo apt-get -y purge wine-gecko2.21 wine-gecko2.21:i386 wine-mono0.0.8 wine1.6 wine1.6-amd64 wine1.6-i386:i386 winetricks 
rm -rf ~/.wine

Startmenu opschonen: Verwijder onnodige items (ik kon alles verwijderen):

~/.local/share/applications

Herstart de computer.

AdWords-editor installeren

Configure Wine: Stel de omgeving in op Windows 7. Dat is alles

Open een terminal in de map met het installatiebestand. Installeer Google AdWords Editor met wine start ./google_adwords_editor-11.1.3-2015.09.msi

Laat Wine Windows XP emuleren

Start de AdWords-editor! De Quicklauncher snapt 't gelijk. Maar het kan ook via de terminal (en nog op 10 andere manieren): ~/.wine/drive_c/users/strompf/Local\ Settings/Application\ Data/Google/AdWords\ Editor/google_adwords_editor.exe

Lukt niet: Tijdens opstarten blijft-ie hangen terwijl-ie iets probeert te downloaden.

• wine msiexec /i ./google_adwords_editor.msi/
• Foutmelding dat Mono ontbreekt → Na 'OK' werd deze automatisch gedownload
• Foutmelding dat Gecko engine ontbreekt → Na 'OK' werd deze automatisch gedownload.
